RENTERS AID ON FORECLOSED HOMES

There is almost nothing worse than a family renting a home coming back to find the locks changed and a notice to vacate within 24 hours. Renters have had no recourse when a home is taken over by the bank in foreclosure. today Fannie Mae said it is implementing a plan to help renters stay in their homes even if landlords enter foreclosure. The will allow renters to lease during the foreclosure and get cash tohelp move. About time........

For buyers, especially first-time homebuyers, the market couldn't be better. Rates are incredible and sellers are eager to sell. We see buyers waiting to see if "we have hit" bottom but we have pretty much stabilized here in ABQ. We didn't depreciate like other cities although our sale prices went down around 4-6% depending on the area of the city and price range. Homes in the range of $200,000 are particularly good deals now.
